OMEN Challenge presented by HLTV set to start-case battles csgo

The duel-based tournament featuring players such as Oleksandr "⁠s1mple⁠" Kostyliev and Nikola "⁠NiKo⁠" Kovač, with $50,000 up for grabs, is soon to kick off in London, UK.

The one-day tournament will feature eight players competing for a $30,000 first-place prize. The first phase of the event will see the players compete in four-player free-for-all deathmatch games of which 14 will be played in total. When that first phase is done, the points will be added up and used to seed the players going into the 1v1 single-elimination playoffs.

All of the action will take place on a custom map "designed to push players to their limits", created by TopHATTwaffle and TheWhaleMan. To make spectators feel as they are a part of the action, OMEN by HP is preparing a revolutionary augmented reality livestream "designed to blur the lines between gameplay and reality".

Competing at the event are six pro players, one of whom has not yet been revealed, and two amateurs who were coached by Danny "⁠zonic⁠" Sørensen and will be supported by Jarosław "⁠pashaBiceps⁠" Jarząbkowski and Julia "⁠juliano⁠" Kiran throughout the day:
